10 New London venues to get excited about in 2021

Sourcing fabulous event venues is what I know and love. So, there’s nothing I get more excited about than shiny new ones! I spend my days in London exploring venues old and new. As restrictions have lifted to allow for site visits, I’ve been busy taking a peek at all of the exciting new ones that have recently opened or are due to open soon. Read on to find out my top ten newest event venues across London for 2021.

Sure to be THE place to be seen for the remainder of 2021 and way beyond. Open for just eight weeks; this Covent Garden hotel takes residence inside the historic Bow Street Magistrates’ Court and Police Station. I was lucky enough to see all it had to offer and sample a few cocktails. Trust me when I say – you NEED to visit! The NoMad restaurant decor is an Instagram-lovers paradise with plenty of intimate event spaces on offer for meetings, receptions and luxurious dinners. If it’s good enough for New York, ay?!

Another exciting hotel opening soon is The Londoner. Located on the South West corner of Leicester Square and set over sixteen storeys. The considerately engineered collection of spaces, tastes and textures is a first-of-its-kind – a super boutique luxury hotel. Opening its doors in September 2021, the Eventify team have bagged the hottest tickets in town to visit the hotel before it opens to the public. Keeping firmly on the hotel theme, I am eagerly awaiting the Pan Pacific London opening in September. A haven in the heart of the City designed by Yabu Pushelberg, this hotel takes innovation and understated luxury to new heights! Located in Bishopsgate just moments from Liverpool Street station and Bishopsgate Plaza – a 24-hour destination for meeting, living, working and discovering. It’s also the first Pan Pacific Hotel in the UK and Europe.

The D&D team have done it again with this simply stunning restaurant and bar on the 14th Floor of 120 Fenchurch Street, with unparalleled views of London. How about dining alfresco on the spectacular rooftop terrace whilst enjoying new summer dishes and the 360-degree views over London? Or how about sophisticated private dining and intimate events? This contemporary 4-star hotel is the group’s first property in the UK, with three meeting spaces for up to 50 guests. I love the uber-quirky décor; think neon yellow bar with a rocket launching from the floor in the lobby!

The newest location from the team at Incipio. Wander through Crossrail Place roof garden into the botanical escape with streaming sunlight through the floor to ceiling windows nourishing real-life flowers, ferns, and vines – foliage heaven! This bar and restaurant offers private dining spaces and exclusive hire. I highly recommend the Flower Sour cocktail!

The team at Tower Suites by Blue Orchid have been busy through lockdown, creating the newest addition to London’s rooftop bar scene – The Skyline London. Offering one of the best (and my personal favourite) views of London overlooking Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and The Shard. Available for semi-private and private events.

Originally due to open in 2020, Nobu Portman Square reopened its doors in Spring this year. The beautiful, state-of-the-art event spaces can accommodate every occasion – from a boardroom meeting for four to an elaborate reception for 700. Located in the heart of central London’s chic Marylebone area, it features 249 guest rooms and suites and world-class dining options, including Nobu Restaurant, Nobu Bar & Nobu Terrace.

Formerly home to The Curtain Hotel, the 120-room property sits in the heart of Shoreditch and is Mondrian’s sixth hotel in their global portfolio and a European flagship. One of the highlights is set to be ‘Christina’s, an all-day café and cocktail bar that embraces local suppliers and brands with social impact. The Curtain Members Club will also continue to operate under its current name. Set to open on 5^th August, and, of course, the Eventify team will be there to check it out, so keep an eye on their Instagram and Twitter pages!

I am finishing off with a wine-themed venue. Some would say obviously! The Vagabond team recently opened their Shoreditch venue located in the fantastic Principle Place on Bishopsgate, a stone’s throw from Liverpool Street Station. This wine bar has the perfect open-air rooftop garden to enjoy a glass of rosé this summer and is also available for private hire.
