If you’re on the hunt for a Christmas party venue, then you’ve come to the right place!
I can’t quite believe it either and hate to break it to you, but there are only 13 weeks until the big guy arrives at your chimney. If you’re tasked with organising the office Christmas celebrations you actually have more like 10/11 weeks until the day of the party/event. I’m not here to be the bearer of bad news; I’m here to help. I’ve rounded up the top 12 venues in London to host your festive celebrations this year so grab yourself a cup of tea and have a read through to get some ideas. If what you’re after isn’t listed below, or you just don’t have the time to ring around checking availability, give the team at Eventify a call and make use of their FREE venue finding service. Get in touch today and you can have your Christmas venue sorted within the next week!
Café de Paris
I thought I’d kick it off with the ultimate party venue. Opened in 1924, Café de Paris is a stunning grade II listed building. Boasting grand sweeping staircases, beautiful eye-catching chandeliers and other eye-catching original features. It’s a dazzling space that always leaves a lasting impression on guests. This venue can hold exclusive parties for up to 700 guests standing or 300 guests seated.

8 Northumberland Avenue
It’s as if the ballroom at 8 Northumberland Avenue was designed for Christmas parties. Grand and magnificent in appearance. Long talked about and anticipated, a night at the grand Ice Palace is what’s in store for this year’s exclusive hire Christmas parties – think candlelight, pinpricks of ice and pale blue, white and turquoise glow.

LSO St Luke’s
Conveniently located on Old Street, LSO St Luke’s is a stunning building in which commanding 18th-century architecture meets sensitive contemporary restoration. In 2019, Christmas will be subtly styled, drawing on the venue’s natural, historical appeal, with space for up to 220 guests for a seated dinner with dancing. There really is something magical about partying the night away in such a magnificent building.

SushiSamba Covent Garden
Sushisamba‘s new West End addition boasts an elegant private dining room that can host up to 14 guests to dine or 35 for a drinks reception. The discreet and decadent space has its own entrance and a balcony overlooking the famous Covent Garden Piazza – the perfect view at Christmas time (if you bring a coat!).

Magazine
Magazine is the newest venue on the block this year. For its first Christmas season it is being transformed into a stunning alpine wonderland hosting a number of ice-cool après ski shared parties. Think twenty-foot Christmas trees, fabulous copper chandeliers, huge roaring log fires and leather chesterfields draped in thick fur throws!

Silver Sturgeon
Is it really silly season without a boat party?! Woods Silverfleet’s – Hyperlink flagship, the Silver Sturgeon, is the ultimate private yacht on the Thames. Decked with boughs, holly and ivy floristry for this year’s Christmas party season, including a wild forest green wall – hello backdrop for Instagram shots! The Silver Sturgeon is available exclusively for between 50 to 550 guests.

Bob Bob Ricard
If a small, sophisticated dinner is more your style, then private dining is perfect for making the evening even more special for your guests. If opulence is what you’re looking for, the private dining room at Bob Bob Ricard is your answer. It’s modelled on the Royal Dining Carriage from the Orient Express – just wow! The minimum spend of this space is £1,000 + service charge.

Tobacco dock
Roll up…roll up… The Dream Circus is coming to Tobacco Dock for Christmas 2019! Tobacco Dock is renowned for its excellent value for money parties that include food, entertainment and fun. Their shared parties are perfect if you’re a smaller group and they offer dining or standing party options. This venue is also available for exclusive hire.

Brigadiers
Brigadiers is an Indian barbecue and drinking tavern, inspired by the army mess bars of India and where socialising and camaraderie is encouraged! If you’re looking for a space for a small company or departmental celebration, this venue has private and semi-private options to suit an array of group sizes and budgets. Located on Bloomberg Arcade, it’s the perfect spot for post-work celebrations!

Banqueting House
Treat your guests to a Royal night to remember at Banqueting House! Situated in Whitehall, it was opened for Royal celebrations and entertaining in 1622. The stunning nine canvas paintings add in the artist’s name adorning the ceiling of the Main Hall provides a WOW backdrop for any dinner or party. An exclusive venue for the most exclusive parties.

Battersea Evolution
Battersea Evolution always seems to feature in any Christmas party list of mine – simply because the Smart Christmas Parties team know how to put on a party! This year the venue is being transformed into Christmas in New York – you’ll be greeted by bellhops before stepping into the fun and revelry of New York in the roaring twenties! A great way to bring a party for a small group to life!

The London EDITION
And last but not least, located in Fitzrovia on the edge of Soho, the London EDITION is a boutique hotel that offers excellent dining and nightlife in a space with bold design. There’s something for everyone; the BASEMENT is the perfect space for a Christmas party with its wood panelling and ski hut theming. There’s also fab private dining options throughout the rest of the hotel, including the infamous Berners Tavern.

So that’s my whistle-stop tour of Christmas venues in London this year. I hope it helps no matter what style of celebration you’re looking for! Don’t forget, 12% is a tiny number of venues available across the city. Get in touch with Eventify for a detailed proposal of places that are available on your preferred date, within your budget, but act quickly as critical dates are selling out fast! Happy Christmas!
